AFTER LAUNCH · MAINTENANCE RETAINER

The product shipped. Keep it alive.

Bugs, security, and small fixes handled every month. You send tickets to HotLyne, we respond within 24 hours, and the platform stays healthy while you run the business.

Priced to your platform as it stands today, not to a clock. From $350 a month for a small product. As it grows, the number grows with it.

From $350 a month. Here is the floor.

Four things, every month, for as long as the product is live. This is the base a small platform starts at.

01
Bug fixes
Something that worked and broke gets fixed. You file it in HotLyne, we work it, it ships. Diagnosed properly, not patched over.
02
Security & updates
Dependency updates, security patches, and the quiet maintenance that stops a healthy product from rotting into a liability.
03
Tiny tweaks
Copy changes, config, a label, a threshold, a small logic adjustment. The little asks that used to sit in a backlog for months.
04
Small enhancements
Improvements to features you already have. Not net-new modules, but making what exists sharper, faster, and easier to use.

We price from your repo.

No tiers, no menu, no guessing. We read the actual codebase and price what is really in it. Same method for every client, a different number for every client, because no two platforms carry the same weight.

01
Services & surfaces
How many apps, APIs, workers, and sites have to keep running. Four things to watch costs more than one.
02
Integrations
Every external service is something that breaks when the vendor changes their API. Ten integrations is ten standing obligations.
03
Money movement
Payments, payouts, lending. When real money runs through a path, every fix on that path has to be right the first time.
04
Autonomous systems
Anything that acts on its own, agents included, needs watching. It can be wrong at scale while everyone is asleep.
05
Background work
Cron, queues, campaigns, webhooks. Async work fails quietly, which makes it the most expensive kind of failure to catch late.
06
Data model
Schema size and how often it changes. A large, moving database is more surface than a handful of stable tables.

Those six things decide how many AI-agent hours it takes to keep your platform healthy each month, and that is your number. Not our hours, and not a rate card. It starts at $350 for a small product and moves with the platform as it grows.

Building something new? The retainer pauses.

You never pay for care and a build at the same time.

01 · CARE
The product is live and steady. The monthly retainer runs. Tickets come in, we keep it healthy.
02 · BUILD
You add new scope. We start active work on it. The retainer pauses, and that work is quoted as its own build.
03 · CARE, RESIZED
The new work ships. Care resumes, now priced to the bigger platform it just became.

Where the line is.

A clear fence keeps the retainer fair to both sides.

Covered by the retainer
  • Bug fixes on existing features
  • Security patches and dependency updates
  • Tiny tweaks: copy, config, small logic

  • Hosting, infrastructure, and your cloud bills
  • Outages or issues on your own accounts
  • Third-party service and API costs

Retainer questions.

The things founders and teams ask before putting a product on care.

What does the monthly retainer include?

Bug fixes, security patches and dependency updates, tiny tweaks, and small enhancements to features that already exist. Anything that keeps the product you already have working and current is covered.

How is the price set?

It is set from your platform as it stands today, not from a menu. We measure how many AI-agent hours it takes to keep your specific product healthy each month. A small site starts at $350. A large platform with payments, integrations, and background jobs costs more, because there is more that can break.

What happens when the platform grows?

The number grows with it. More features and more integrations mean more surface to maintain, so the retainer is reviewed and adjusted when the platform materially changes.

What if I want a new feature built?

New scope is a build, not maintenance. When we start active work on something new, the retainer pauses so you are never paying for care and a build at the same time. When the new work ships, care resumes at the new platform size.

How do I send work in?

Every ticket goes through HotLyne, our ticketing platform. You file it, we respond within 24 hours, and you can see where it stands. No email threads, no chasing.

Do you host or manage my servers?

No. Your infrastructure lives in your own accounts and you own it outright. We maintain the code and integrations we build. Hosting, third-party bills, and outages on your cloud account are not part of the retainer.
